Ingredients
- 1/4 cup moong dal
- 1 Potato Cubed
- 1 carrot Roughly Chopped
- 8 beans
- 1 medium size drumstick
- 12 Shallots
- 1 tsp garlic Chopped
- 3 cup coconut milk
- 8 green chilli Chopped
- 1 piece Ginger
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- Curry Leaves few

Instructions
- Take Moong dal in a vessel. Add turmeric powder and water and pressure cook for 3-4 whistles till you have a soft and mushy dal. Mash the dal and set it aside
- Take green chili, ginger and cumin seeds and grind it to a smooth paste and set it aside
- Heat oil in a pan. Add shallots and chopped garlic and sauté till light brown color. Add greenchilli- ginger-cumin seeds paste and saute for 3-4 minutes in low flame
- Then, add veggies and stir-fry in high flame for 3-4 minutes. Then, add thin coconut milk and stir once and cover and cook the veggies till they are soft
- Once the veggies are cooked, add salt. Add mashed dal and stir well. Cook for 2 minutes
- Finally add thick coconut milk and stir once and switch off the flame. Do not bring it to boil after adding thick coconut milk.
- Heat oil in another pan. Add mustard seeds and allow it to sputter. Add curry leaves and sauté for few seconds. Add these seasoning to kuzhambu.
- Allow Sodhi kuzhambu to cool for 5 minutes and then add lemon juice and stir well
- The delicious Tirunelveli Sodhi ready to serve!
