Tadka Idli Recipe
Happy World Idli Day! Usually when idlis are made at home, they are all mopped up but on some occasions there are some left overs. In that case you can refresh the idlis with a dash of masalas and a tempering that’ll elevate idli to another level.

Ingredients
- 6 pieces cooked idli
- 1/5th tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 pinch Asafoetida
- 1 pinch turmeric
- 1 sprig Curry Leaves
- 1 finely chopped green chillies
- 1/3 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp cumin pwder
- 3 tbsp Chopped coriander
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp Oil

Instructions
- Heat some oil and add the mustard seeds letting them crackle.
- Now add curry leaves and chilli along with turmeric, asafoetida and red chilli powder.
- Slightly stir and add the cumin powder and add some water to it.
- Add salt and mix.
- Now add the idli and mix it well so that it gets coated in tadka.
- Put the lid on the pan and let it cook for a minute.
- Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
