Young Sheldon Kolaches Recipe
Bringing Kolaches to George is an easy way to get him to do something and is equally true for us too. We couldn’t stop thinking about these delicious Texan favourites after seeing George bite into them. So we’re making them!

Ingredients
- 1/2 ounce yeast
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cups Warm Milk
- 6 cups all purpose flour
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 cup softened butter
- 2 cups desired fruity filling
- 1 beaten egg white

Instructions
- Mix a tablespoon of sugar along with yeast in warm milk till dissolved.
- Set aside for 10 minutes.
- Take 1/3rd of the flour along with rest of the sugar, yolks, salt, butter in a bowl.
- Add the yeast mix and mix together to make a smooth dough.
- Keep adding the flour and keep kneading to make a dough.
- Once smooth, put it in a bowl greased with oil and cover for about an hour.
- As the dough rises to double its size, punch it and then roll out on the work surface.
- Roll to the thickness of 1/2 an inch cut rounds with a glass.
- Put these on a baking sheets which have been greased and set aside for another hour to rise.
- Make a dent with your thumb in the center of the circle.
- Add a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle.
- Now bake the kolaches for 15 minutes at 350 degrees or till they are golden brown.
