Sanchez Unveils a Special Esquites Menu For Mexican Independence Day
This Mexican Independence Day, Sanchez is serving up a variety of the very popular Mexican street food staple, Esquites. Freshly toasted and tangy, Esquites are a off-the-cob version of Elotes, Mexican street corn on the cob. Curated by Chef Vikas Seth, the menu created for the special occasion will run for a month.
At Sanchez, Esquites are prepared with cilantro simmered corn kernels mixed with homemade Queso Fresco, a dash of lime juice, mayonnaise, sprinkled with Mexican spices and served in corn husk shells.
The menu, features the restaurant’s very own adaptation of the delicious Mexican Esquites, with varied toppings including – ripe avocado tossed in lime, chipotle spiced black beans, grilled cilantro shrimps, morita pulled chicken, sautéed homemade chorizo, guajillo chili spiced lamb and the special Sanchez esquites with Mexican spice dust and cilantro.
