Shangri-La Hotel, Bengaluru Kicks Off The Festive Season by Lighting up a Christmas Tree, Spreading cheer and Fulfilling wishes
Shangri-La Hotel, Bengaluru hosted its philanthropic, annual Tree-Lighting Ceremony with notable city guests, including Waseem Khan, Jackie Pinto, Sheetal C, Anuja Pandey, Shalini Chopra, Rohit Chopra, Ashish Nair, Varuni Mohan and Wanitha Ashok, partaking in the celebration. The Lobby Lounge was abuzz with the true spirit of the season with festive embellishments adorning the hotel lobby and the 26 feet long Christmas Wish Tree taking centre stage and exuding a sense of awe and grandeur.
The evening began with cheerful Christmas carols for everyone in attendance while the tree dazzled with lights and the wishes of children from Angel’s Orphanage. Enlivening the real spirit of Christmas, which celebrates the joy of giving and spreading cheer, and in line with the hotel’s commitment to community responsibility, this year’s aim was to fulfil the wishes of many children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Guests present generously contributed to help fulfil the humble wishes expressed on the Wish Tree.

It is a wonderful time for community gathering and, through our annual fundraiser, this time, we want to share the festive cheer and happiness with children from Angel’s Orphanage.
