Slow Cooker Turkey Taco Chili Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 2 pounds lean ground turkey
- 1 medium red or yellow onion peeled and diced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 cans tomato sauce 15 ounce
- 2 cans diced tomatoes 14 ounce
- 1 can black beans rinsed and drained, 15 ounce
- 1 can dark red kidney beans rinsed and drained, 15 ounce
- 1 can light red kidney beans rinsed and drained, 15 ounce
- 1 can whole kernel corn drained, 15 ounce
- 1 can chopped Green Chiles 4 ounce
- 1 cup beer or chicken broth
- 1 packet taco seasoning ¼ cup
- 1 Tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- teaspoon ½black pepper

Instructions
- Heat oil in large pan over medium to high heat.
- Add the turkey and saute until completely brown, about 6-8 minutes, using a spoon to stir and break up the meat as it cooks.
- Drain the cooked turkey and then place the turkey into a slow cooker.
- Add all of the remaining ingredients except the toppings, and stir
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the soup is cooked through.
- Serve warm, garnished with optional toppings if desired.
