Tawa Prawns Recipe
The flavours of the prawns are myriad, especially combined with other ingredients and products. Although prawns enhances the flavour of any dish, it has a distinct flavour on its own. Those flavours are captured when it undergoes minimal cooking procedure.
This tawa prawns recipe has minimal ingredients cooked fast to guard the flavours that makes prawns one of the most delicious edible items of the sea. It has a slight spicy kick to it, making it a perfect starter for your weekend drinking sessions.

Ingredients
- 20 pieces Prawns peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Oil
For marinade
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tsp fish masala powder
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- salt to tase
- pinch fenugreek powder

Instructions
- Add 2 tbsp of lemon juice to a bowl of water and soak the prawns in it for 5-10 minutes
- Add the ingredients under the "marinade" section together and mix until it forms a nice paste
- Coat the washed prawns with this paste and refrigerate it for a minimum of half hour
- Heat a pan and add some oil
- Add the marinated prawns to the pan and cook for 3-5 minutes, covered on medium heat
- Carefully flip the prawns and cook for a further 2-3 minutes
- Remove from the pan and serve with the wedge of lemon
Recipe Notes
Make sure not to overcook the prawns as it will turn rubbery
