This Beer Was Brewed Using Fried Chicken!

on

We all love our chicken. And our beer. We love it even more when we have it together. Nothing beats the pleasure of washing down those fried chicken with a mug of beer, right? Here’s something to brighten up your day. A beer brewed with fried chicken has just been released. The combination may sound a bit odd, but that never stopped us before.

So, Virginia’s Veil Brewing, in collaboration with Brooklyn, New York’s Evil Twin Brewing has released Fried Fried Chicken Chicken, an 8 percent “Old Country” Double IPA brewed with  Chick-fil-A chicken tenders thrown into the mash. Now, this was inspired when the Evil Twin founder, Jarnit-Bjergso took a trip to Cracker Barrel. And we are glad that he loved the chicken so much that he wanted to somehow bring it in his beer. You can check out their instagram profile to see these men at work!

Now, if you are thinking that the beer actually imparts a taste of Chick-Fil-A sandwich, you would be highly disappointed. Only .4% of the mash was whipped up using fried chicken, but the chicken in beer will never fail to amaze us.

As usual, we save the sad part for the end. This beer is only available in Richmond, Virginia and only  200-plus cases were produced. So, getting your hands on them might be a tad bit difficult.
