How To Pour A Beer For A Perfect Foam?

Some say that pouring beer is an art, others say that it’s something that everyone can pick up on if they just try hard enough. Hopefully this method is easy to understand, so bear with us!

Step 1. When pouring from a bottle or can, hold the glass at a 45-degree angle. While it’s difficult to measure that when pouring, just make sure that your glass is tilted at least halfway.

Step 2. Start pouring the beer, not too fast and not too slow, but till the mid-point and then straighten the glass up as you continue pouring. The reason why you turn the glass straight is so that it can form the head aka the froth.

Step 3. By the time you empty the bottle into the glass, you should have just 1 inch of so of head/froth at the top of the glass and that is a sign of a good pouring.

Note: Pouring too fast can give the beer bigger head and that is never a good thing!
