You Can Now Taste Buddy The Elf’s ‘Spaghetti Sundae’ At Miss Ricky’s
In a curious case of life imitating art, you can now get into the Christmas spirit early with an Elf-inspired dish that we’re pretty sure you haven’t tried before! As a tribute to honor the classic holiday movie ‘Elf’ on it’s 15th anniversary, Miss Ricky’s, a Chicago-based restaurant, is recreating that (gross-looking?) dessert spaghetti dish that Buddy eats for breakfast in the film.
The “Spaghetti Sundae,” will be served at Miss Ricky’s from November 7 through December 25, and will be spaghetti topped with syrup, Pop Tarts, and Oreos all for the price of $15! Although it does seem a bit pricey for some junk food on top of spaghetti, what you’re really paying for is partaking in a pop culture moment (and your Insta pic, of course) and you can’t really put a price on that!
The restaurant’s executive chef, Moosah Reaume, will be topping his colorful take on the dish with strawberry and raspberry sauce, marshmallows, S’mores Pop-Tarts, M&Ms, Oreos, Fruity Pebbles, coconut, syrup, and chocolate sauce. So, if you’re a big fan of Buddy (and have around the same palate as he does) you won’t want to miss out on a bite of holiday cinematography at its best!
