Some call coffee the nectar of the gods. It’s a magical elixir that keeps you awake and helps you stay alert through the day. But if you’re not someone who likes to drink coffee, then we’ve got something else for you. Coffee can be included in desserts and some are easy, some not so, but you can mix it all up and produce something absolutely mind blowing. From mousse to cupcakes and even popsicles, you can make pretty much anything with coffee. And of course a list like this should come with a warning – brace yourself for lots of delicious awesomeness.

Dark chocolate is already such a winner, imagine mixing that up with some coffee and turning it into a mousse! It’s like you get to have everything in each spoonful and we support that completely.

Mocha cupcakes with espresso buttercream frosting

These would be a little more time consuming to make, but it’d be worth it. Mix the coffee into the cupcake batter so that it’s in each bite and while they’re baking, work on the frosting. Don’t add too much espresso, but a dash. Just enough to give the buttercream that kick it needs.

Cappuccino ice pops

Simple as pie. You make your cappuccino and pour it into the popsicle molds, stick it in the freezer for a few hours and bam. Ice Pops. You can even add some crumbled biscuits for crunch, but it’s so easy, you might be doing this for the rest of the summer!

Tiramisu

There are lots of people who make Tiramisu without the coffee, but we say, WHAT? Tiramisu is only magical when it has coffee and liqueur, so make sure you add enough and more of both.

Coffee cheesecake

You can either do this baked or no-bake, whichever floats your boat. It’s still going to be really easy to put together. When you blend your cream cheese, add in the coffee and voila presto, it’s ready to be set. You can crush some coffee beans and sprinkle it on top, along with some chocolate chips and chocolate sauce before you serve.

Baking cake is always a little daunting, but once you get the hang of it, it feels like home. Two layers of chocolate cake and two layers of coffee cake, separated by a thick layer of caramel sauce and then covered in a delicious coating of chocolate fondue and you have a winner. Fudge is another really easy dish to make and it requires no effort at all. Okay, maybe a little effort to mix it all together.
