Beef Stroganoff Recipe

Ingredients
- cup ¼butter cut into cubes
- 1 packet egg noodles
- 450 gm sirloin cut into strips
- 1 large onion thinly sliced
- I small packet bell mushrooms thinly sliced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- cup ½white wine
- cup ½beef broth
- 3 tablespoon flour
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- cup ½Greek yogurt
- Chopped parsley for garnishing
- salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Cook the egg/plain noodles according to packet instructions till al dente.
- In a large pan, melt a little butter over medium heat and add the steak strips in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper and cook until there is a good sear on the beef. Flip the pieces and cook the other side until browned. Now remove the steak and set aside.
- Add a little more butter to the pan and cook the sliced onions until soft adding the minced garlic in between. Add mushrooms and cook for another 5-7 minutes or until they are soft.
- Deglaze the pan with white wine and let the mixture cook in a simmer for a bit. In another bowl, whisk together the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce and flour. Pour this broth mixture into the pan, and stir to combine. Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the greek yogurt in the pan and put the steak back into the pan. Add salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve this warm over the cooked noodles.
