A Dessertable Tribute To This Love Story

Entire social media had been buzzing with Priyanka Chopra’s bridal shower to be held in New York recently. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’d know that PeeCee got engaged to Nick Jonas and are going to get married early next year. As her pre-wedding celebration, she had a “break-all-rules” party with her close friends and family. Apart from Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra and mother-in-law Denise Miller-Jonas, Hollywood actor Lupita Nyong’o was also present at the party.

Now coming to the real deal – THE CAKE – The towering three-tiered cake had a classy white base and a conical top with what looked like choux pastries. But that was not it. The party was organised at Tiffany & Co.’s flagship Blue Box Café in NY and featured miniature cakes in the shape of a Tiffany box as well! Drooling already? The miniature cakes had the letters “N&P” on it with golden fondant.

The pastry was a fitting tribute to Nick Jonas and Priyanka Copra’s love story, as Nick had famously shut down a Tiffany store, to buy Priyanka Chopra’s engagement ring. Well, we can’t wait for the wedding cake already!
