Believe It Or Not, There Exists An Advent Calendar Made From Cheese
With dates usually beginning from December 1st, the Advent calendar is a special calendar used to count or celebrate the days in anticipation of Christmas. Typically, it consists of a piece of card incorporating small numbered flaps, one of which is opened on each day of Advent to reveal a picture appropriate to the season. Sounds like something fun, yes? But wait, there exists the best advent calendar of all of them – the cheese advent calendar! We bet you would like to get yourself one of those this Christmas season.
Is The Cheese Advent Calendar Edible?
The answer to that is pretty simple – of course it is! Why else would we be so excited about it? Created by London-based blogger behind So-Wrong-Its-Nom, Annam. This calendar allows you to eat a different piece of cheese everyday upto Christmas. While there are plenty of edible takes on the seasonal calendar, like chocolate Advent calendars and wine Advent calendars, this is unlike any you’ve seen before.
Unfortunately, there exists only one protype of this calendar at the moment, but this calendar will be sold to the public in 2017. However, this DIY post made by Annem provides you with a step-by-step tutorial that shows you how to make a cheese advent calendar in the comfort of your own kitchen. It seems like a exciting and fun process where you cut out cheeses like blue cheese and gouda with various mini cookie cutters and make your own box that has a slot for each piece of cheese!
