Ingredients
- 2 cups dried cornflakes
- 1/3 cup Peanuts
- 1/3 cup Cashew nuts
- 3 tbsp Golden Raisins
- 10 Curry Leaves
- 1/2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- Oil for deep frying

Instructions
- Heat the oil until moderately hot in a deep dish.
- Immerse one third of the cup of corn flakes into the hot oil.
- Fry the cornflakes until they become crisp and golden.
- Remove the cornflakes from the oil using a ladle and sieve out the extra oil.
- Lay the cornflakes on a paper towel to allow excess oil to seep out.
- Fry the rest of the cornflakes and lay them out to dry in the same way.
- Separately, deep fry the peanuts, cashew nuts, raisins and curry leaves, resting them on paper towels after frying to seep out excess oil.
- Once everything is fried, mix the peanuts, cashew nuts, raisins, curry leaves and corn flakes together in a bowl.
- Mix in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, sugar and salt and stir well.
- Allow the chivda to cool and then enjoy!

Store the chivda in a cool place in an airtight container.
