Egg Toast Recipe
This is what we like to consider the Indian version of French toast; bread gets a touch of Indian flavours when it’s dipped into eggs mixed with onions, tomatoes and chilies.
Egg is a good source of protein and albumin, an important nutrient that is only found in egg whites.
Enjoy a few slices of egg toast with breakfast or as a snack during tea time along with some hot tea!

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3 slices of bread
- 1/2 onion finely chopped
- 1/2 tomato finely chopped
- 2 green chillies finely chopped
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp Milk
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- Oil for frying

Instructions
- Whisk the eggs and stir in the milk, onions, tomatoes, chillies, chili powder, coriander leaves and salt.
- Continue whisking the mixture with a fork until it becomes frothy.
- Then, dip the bread slices into the egg mixture.
- Place a little oil in a saucepan or on a tava and heat it.
- Once hot, put the soaked toast in the hot oil and fry until it begins to brown.
- Once this happens, flip it over and fry for another minute or so.
- Do the same for the remaining slices of bread.
- Serve immediately.
