Get Bready: Magazine Street Kitchen Opens Retail Outlet In Bandra
A few months after Magazine Street Kitchen opened its doors in Byculla the baking wing of the venture has opened a store retailing its creations in Bandra.
Magazine Street Kitchen: The Background
In case you didn’t catch our earlier discussion about Magazine Street Kitchen, allow us to give you a little background. Magazine Street Kitchen was opened by restaurateurs Gauri Devidayal and Jay Yousuf and Chef Alex Sanchez, who together own, manage and operate The Table, a popular, posh eatery in Colaba.
Housed in an industrial estate in Byculla, the Kitchen provides a workspace as well as state of the art culinary equipment to guest chefs who can conduct cooking workshops, host dinners or even experiment with techniques.
The Kitchen also houses the Magazine Street Baking Company which bakes over 30 types of artisanal breads which are supplied to restaurants across the city.
Now, Meet Mag Street Bread Co
Mumbaikars who have tasted Magazine Street Baking Company’s breads at other restaurants will be delighted to know that they can now pick up the breads for themselves at the company’s first retail outlet in Out Of The Blue in Bandra.
On the menu are fresh Pullman loaves, rustic loaves, viennoiseries, baguettes, focaccias and croissants.
The company will also soon launch a bread subscription service, where customers can get a different set of breads delivered to them each day of the week.
