Häagen-Dazs Announced A Non-Dairy Range, Which One Is Your Pick? #POLL
Ice Cream giant Häagen-Dazs recently wowed the world with a range of potent boozy gelatos, but the brand has gone on to delight us further with four additional flavours that are – wait for it – dairy free! Yep, all you lactose intolerant folks please pull out those dessertspoons and bowls for a brain-freezing gelato binge!
While this isn’t the first time we’re saying a non-dairy ice cream, it is the first time we’ll taste the variety in rich and luxurious flavours loaded with Belgian chocolate, peanut butter, cookie, mocha, coconut, caramel, and the works. Let’s take a more detailed look at the flavours, shall we?
The Flavours
The first flavour is a Chocolate Salted Fudge Truffle that is made with a rich Belgian chocolate base, salted fudge, and chunk of fudge truffle. The second flavour in the Häagen-Dazs folio is a Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge, which prides itself with a creamy peanut butter base, which is mixed with swirls of chocolate fudge.
Next up, is the Mocha Chocolate Cookie flavor, which also packs the delightful richness of a Belgian Chocolate base, coffee, topped with a swirl of cookie crumbles. And finally, there is the Coconut Caramel flavor, which is closest to a traditional non-dairy ice cream because it’s made with a coconut cream base. The flavor also has decadent swirls of caramel.

In a press release, the ice cream brand said “instead of simply substituting dairy with soy, almond, or cashew milk, the new non-dairy collection focuses on each flavor’s core ingredient to deliver indulgent flavors that have the creaminess of ice cream without dairy.”
Currently the pints are up for grabs at Target, but starting 2018, they will become available at retailers across USA, and will cost $5.49 for every 14-ounce carton. So now that Häagen-Dazs has proven that ice cream doesn’t necessarily mean dairy, which of the four new frozen dessert flavours is going to be your pick?
