Treacle Tart
Treacle tart, a British shortcut pastry made with treacle, lemon and breadcrumbs.
Treacle tarts are a popular dessert during Great Hall feasts at Hogwarts. Harry likes it so much that he gets the smell of it whenever he’s near Amortentia.
Even if you’re not a Harry Potter fan you need to try this recipe; it’ll go a long way in warding off the Monday blues.

- 1 9 inch pie crust pastry
- 1 cup golden syrup
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 lemon zested
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
Ingredients

- Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F.
- Place the pie crust pastry in a pie pan.
- Whisk together the syrup, breadcrumbs, cream, lemon zest and lemon juice.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until the filling sets.
- Take out of the oven and allow to cool.
- Serve and enjoy.
