Halli Berri has been growing coffee in the Bababudan mountains since 1948, and what makes this coffee so special is the way it is grown in addition to its location. The coffee is grown under the shade of various jungle trees in harmony with its natural surroundings. And according to the makers of Halli Berri’s coffee, “the iron rich soil, high altitude and low temperature allows the coffee bean to mature slowly, incorporating subtle flavors and thus giving it a clean fresh taste.”

We already began to imagine what a warm cup of this would taste like and got to brewing it right away. If we thought the aromas couldn’t get any better, we were wrong. Brewing this will have your home feeling like a dream, wafting through clouds in coffee land. This is the aroma you’ll want to wake up to every morning.
After stirring in some milk and sugar to make that perfect little cup of coffee, we took our first sip. And this is the part where we add that this is the coffee you’ll want to wake up to every morning. There’s something about the coffee that’s so pure and so strong, we believe that a little gulp of this is just what you’d need to kickstart your day – and have a great one at that! We also tried the coffee with some cream and added sweetness, turning it into a dessert-like treat of some sort, which was absolutely delightful. The strength of the coffee stands stong with it’s powerful aroma, no matter how much cream you add on to it. It’s simply perfect, something that uplifts your senses, wakes you up, yet calms you at the same time. It’s dreamy, and we love it.
The single origin coffee that we tried, we learnt, is hand picked and sun dried, and roasted in small batches “to obtain a greater complexity by resulting in an elegant cup of coffee.” And we agree, a batch of this coffee is something you’d want to have in your kitchen at all times for guests, parties, your evenings alone, your late nights working, your early morning flight, and what not.
