Hot Chocolate For Christmas Recipe
Christmas is almost here and that means its time to whip out the decorations, the warm clothes, the Christmas tree and all the delicious treats that go with the season. Honestly, it doesn’t matter if it’s hot or cold or moderately winter where you are, hot chocolate is the perfect treat for any time of year. But obviously it’s also fantastic for Christmas!
And for those that don’t drink coffee or tea or mulled wines to keep them warm in the winter, here’s an equally good treat to keep you going. Get toasty and comfortable with this delicious recipe.

- 2 1/2 cups Milk
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 100 g dark chocolate
- Marshmallows for decoration
- sugar if needed

Method
- Boil the milk in a pan
- Add the cocoa powder once the milk starts bubbling and mix
- Then add in the pieces of dark chocolate and mix till the chocolate melts into the mixture
- Line your cups with melted chocolate and then fill the cups with chocolate milk mixture
- Add marshmallows and chocolate shavings
- Serve!
Recipe Notes
If you like your hot chocolate sweet, make sure you add sugar as well, otherwise the hot chocolate will be too bitter.
