Industry Kitchen In New York Is Serving A 24K Pizza With Real Gold Flakes
Are you a true-blue gourmet food lover with 2000 dollars to spare? Then Industry Kitchen in New York should be on your must-visit list; it’s currently serving a honest to goodness gold pizza called the 24K.
Meet The 24K
As well as being coated with 24-karat gold flakes, the pizza has gourmet ingredients from around the world including caviar from the Caspian Sea, French foie gras and truffles and Stilton cheese from England.
“I drew my inspiration for the pizza from the Financial District, which is right next door to where we’re located,” said Chef Braulio Bunay. “This area attracts people from all over the world, so I wanted to create a dish that celebrates that.”
The pizza is cut into 8 slices, each of which will cost you a whopping $250; maybe you could settle for tasting a slice and go splitsies with seven other friends? Should you want a bite, you’ll have to place an order 48 hours in advance.
When it’s not serving the world luxury pizza, Industry Kitchen offers modern American cuisine with seasonal market ingredients.
