Do You Know What The Iconic Green Matrix Code Is Made Of?
It’s pretty much guaranteed that, even if you haven’t seen the Matrix Trilogy, you’ll have seen the iconic green Matrix code running down the screen. If you’ve been castaway on a remote island like Tom Hanks for the better part of two decades, then below is a video to give you an idea of what we’re talking about.
Many theories have sprung from the code. A friend of mine truly believed that if he hacked the code the world of the Matrix would open to him. However, in reality, the code ain’t all that exciting.
In an interview with CNET, production designer Simon Whiteley revealed that he made the code out of sushi recipes. Whiteley scanned all of the characters that went into the sequence from his Japanese wife’s cookbooks. “Without that code, there is no Matrix,” Whiteley said.
Obviously, Twitter had something to say about that.
Famous green-code on Matrix movie was actually a sushi recipe? What a coincident. I want my Ikura, now. ?https://t.co/9JBZx9XwMR
