Paneer Bread Pakora Recipe
It is safe to say that the North Indians’ love for pakora (Indian batter-fried fritters) and the immense zest for bajjis down south has established the pakora as a unanimously loved tea-time snack throughout the country.
We’ve seen earlier how to make regular bread pakoras. This time give your desi fritter a delicious cheesy twist with some cottage cheese (paneer) stuffing with this paneer bread pakora recipe.

Ingredients
- 6-8 slices sandwich bread
- 100 g paneer cottage cheese
- 1 onion
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 gram cupflour
- salt to taste
- water as required
- oil for frying

Instructions
- Chop the onions and the grate paneer.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil and add ginger garlic paste, onions. Sauté until lightly brown.
- Add paneer, salt, chili powder, garam masala and sauté for a few minutes. Keep aside.
- Remove edges from the bread and cut them diagonally into triangles.
- Mix a pinch of salt with gram flour and add a cup of water to make a batter of thick consistency.
- On one triangle bread slice keep scoop the paneer filling and keep another slice on top of it.
- Heat oil in a kadai. In the meantime make all the sandwiches and keep them ready.
- Once the oil is hot dip the sandwich in the batter and fry them till golden brown.
- Serve hot with ketchup.
