Chilli Paneer
An indo-chinese recipe of stir fried paneer cubes with green capsicum, chillies, onion, traditional herbs and delicious Chinese sauces – Chilli Paneer can never go out of style. A perfect starter recipe for your parties that will please everyone, kids and grown-ups alike. Can also be served along with fried rice or noodles.

Ingredients
- 200 grams Paneer cubed
- 1 large Onion peeled and cubed
- 1 large Capsicum / Bell Pepper cubed
- 6 cloves Garlic chopped finely
- 2 inch piece Ginger chopped finely
- 3 slit Green Chilli
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup
- 1 tblspn Red Chilli Sauce (or) to taste
- 1 tblspn Green Chilli Sauce or to taste
- 2 tsp Soy Sauce or to taste
- 1 tsp Vinegar or to taste
- 1 tblspn Chilli Powder
- Spring Onion a handful finely chopped
Instructions
- Heat 4 tblspn of oil in a pan. Take all the ingredients given for frying in a bowl, add in water and make it to slightly thin batter.
- Dip the paneer in the batter and fry till golden. Remove it to a plate.
- Mix all the sauces in a bowl and set aside.
- Now in the remaining oil(if there is no oil, add a tsp more oil).
- Add in ginger, garlic and chillies. Saute for a min.
- Add in onions, capsicum and saute for couple more mins.
- Add in salt, sugar and mix well. Add in chilli powder and sauces and mix well. Cook for couple of mins.
- Add in the fried paneer and toss.
- Add in spring onion and mix well.Serve with noodles or fried rice.
