FRIENDS Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and we thought we’d take the opportunity to share a Thanksgiving recipe from popular culture.

The FRIENDS’ Thanksgivings

Despite having ended over a decade ago, FRIENDS is still a much loved TV show across the world. Each year, one episode of FRIENDS was devoted to Thanksgiving – it was on Thanksgiving that Rachel made her infamous trifle, that Chandler told Monica he loved her for the first time and that Brad Pitt makes an appearance as Ross’ high school friend.

While the menu varies for each Thanksgiving – once they just had a pile of grilled cheese sandwiches – one dessert which has made several appearances is the pumpkin pie. Not surprisingly, considering that pumpkin pie is a popular Thanksgiving dessert.

Here’s a pumpkin pie recipe that will create a pumpkin pie that will hopefully be as delicious as Monica’s. Serve it after a Thanksgiving meal!

• 2 eggs
• 1 can pumpkin puree
• 1 can sweetened condensed milk
• 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
• 1 9 inch unbaked pie crust

Instructions

1. Preheat an oven to 435 degrees F.
2. Combine the eggs, pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk and pumpkin pie spice together.
3. Pour this mixture into the crust.
4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
5. Reduce the heat to 350 degrees F and bake for 40 minutes.
6. Take out of the oven.
7. Serve warm.
