Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, take the flour and butter.
- Mix well till you form a crumb-like dough.
- Now to this add sugar and egg mixing well.
- Sprinkle a little flour on work surface and fold the dough forming the pastry.
- Putting on a plastic wrap, toss the pastry in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mix together the minced meat, satsumas, apple and lemon zest.
- Once the pastry has stayed in for 10 minutes, put the oven on preheat at 220 C.
- Now roll out the pastry and using a pastry cutter, make rounds of about 10 centimeters.
- Make about 16 rounds like these and put a little meat mixture in the middle of each.
- Beat an egg in a small bowl and brush the edges of the pastry with it and seal them up.
- Brush the ready pastries with the egg and then sprinkle the caster sugar on them.
- Before tossing them in the oven make small incisions on top of each pastry.
- Now bake them for about 20 minutes or till they turn golden brown.
- Serve hot.
