The Hunger Games Creamy Pumpkin Brew Recipe
The Hunger Games features a range of food references; understandably so, when you consider the theme. Today, we’re sharing a recipe for the pumpkin soup Katniss eats in the Capitol during the Victory Tour.
‘My resolve is almost immediately broken at the first table, which has twenty or so soups, when I encounter a creamy pumpkin brew sprinkled with slivered nuts and tiny black seeds. “I could just eat this all night!” I exclaim.’
Since it’s Fall, pumpkins are abound so there’s no better time to make this recipe. Serve it as an appetiser for lunch or dinner.
