Ingredients
The Paneer
- 200 grams paneer crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
- A pinch Salt
- A pinch pepper
- 5 grams green chillies chopped
The Coating Mixture
- 150 grams Besan
- 100 grams corn flour
- 1 cup Water
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder

- 4 slices white bread
- Oil for shallow frying

Making The Paneer
- In a bowl, crumble the paneer and then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chat masala, salt and pepper and mix well.
- Slice the bread however you wish - we've sliced it into triangles - and then spread the paneer mixture into the bread and place another slice on top.
Making The Coating Mixture
- In a large wide bowl, add the besan and the corn flour, mix it nicely, then add some chilli powder and some salt.
- Add a cup (or more) of water to make the mixture a little liquidy so that you can properly coat the bread. Then mix it all nicely.
Making The Pakodas
- In a pan, pour the oil - enough for shallow frying - and let it heat up.
- Dip the bread into the besan mixture, coating it evenly and then carefully put it into the oil.
- Turn it the sandwich over so that all the sides are nicely cooked, then put it aside on a plate with a paper towel to soak up the oil.
