Halwa is also really popular during festivals and holidays, simply because it’s easier to make than most other desserts. This halwa recipe takes a lot less time than most of the others, and it’s also filled with sugar that makes it the perfect kind of sweet to complete your meal.
In different parts of the world, halwa can be made with different flavours and nuts can be added. No matter what flavour you’re in the mood for, that’s what you can add to your halwa.

- 1 cup milk powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- Nuts of your choice

Method
- Melt the butter in a pan
- Add the milk powder and milk and mix together
- Then add in the sugar and stir together
- Continue to stir and cook till it becomes lumpy and butter leaves from the sides
- Transfer into tray and flatten (or in our case, we put them into cupcake molds)
- Let it cool and set
- Then serve
