Mixed Vegetables In Black Bean Sauce Recipe
Black bean sauce is a pungent condiment that imparts a distinct flavor to a dish. Bottled black bean sauce is readily available in leading supermarkets. All you need to do is cook all the chopped vegetables together with this yummy sauce, corn flour, garlic and fresh spring onions. And voila, your mixed vegetables in black bean sauce are ready to serve!

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp garlic finely chopped
- 1 tsp celery finely chopped
- 1 cup onions sliced
- 1 1/2 cups sliced mixed vegetables (carrotsfrench beans, baby corn) parboiled
- 3/4 cup broccoli florets parboiled
- Salt to taste
- 1 1/2 tbsp black bean sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 cup cornflour dissolved in water

Instructions
- Heat the oil in a wok / kadhai on a high flame till it smokes.
- Add the garlic, celery, spring onions and sauté on a high flame for 2 minutes.
- Add the mixed vegetables, broccoli and salt and sauté on a high flame for another 2 minutes.
- Add the black bean sauce, sugar and cornflour mixture and cook on a high flame for a minute or till the mixture thickens. Serve hot.
