Ingredients
- 1 cup Soaked Sabudana/Sago
- 2- 3 teaspoon Kuttu Flour
- 2 big Boiled Potatoes
- 1/2 tablespoon Chopped cilantro leaves
- 1/2- 1 teaspoon amchur powder Mango Powder, omit if you don't eat in vrat
- 1/4- 1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder + 1Haldi Turmeric powder, omit if you don't eat haldi in vrat
- salt to taste Vrat salt - Saindha namak
- Oil for Toasting

Instructions
- We will be using Kuttu ka atta in this recipe. You can substitute it with Singoda flour (water chestnut flour) or even wheat flour - if not fasting.
- Assemble all the ingredients. If you prefer you can add 1/2 tablespoon crushed Peanuts to this recipe.
- In a bowl mash boiled potatoes and add all the ingredients one by one.
- Save sabudana for the last.
- Mix everything together till it is well blended.
- Mixture will look like this.
- Shape them like round patties.
- Depending on the size it will yield 15 vadas.
- Heat a non stick pan on a medium flame and sprinkle 2 teaspoon oil. Transfer these vadas to this hot pan and cook till evenly brown on both the side - turning occasionally.
- Beautifully toasted vadas.
- If using the appe pan, heat appe pan on a medium flame, drop a pea size oil at the base of appe pan and place vadas in each appe moulds. Cover and cook till evenly brown on both the side.
