• 6 cups powdered sugar
• 2 cups unsalted butter
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
• 2-4 tbsp heavy whipping cream

Instructions

1. Sift the powdered sugar using a fine sieve.
2. Bring the butter to room temperature and then whisk it in a stand mixer till it becomes creamy.
3. On low speed incorporate the icing sugar by adding one cup at a time.
4. Once all the sugar is incorporated, turn the speed to medium and continue whisking for 3 minutes.
5. Now add vanilla at the same speed along with 2 tbsp of cream.
6. Keep adding more cream till you reach a desired consistency and whip for 5 more minutes.
7. Layer the cake and frost it with this delicious frosting.
