SpongeBob SquarePants Krabby Patty Recipe
Did you love SpongeBob SquarePants as a kid? Then, you’re probably familiar with the Krusty Krab, Bikini Bottom’s most popular restaurant owned by the miserly Eugene H Krabs. The Krusty Krab is known for its coral bits, kelp rings and the oh so popular Krabby Patty.
The Krabby Patty
The Krabby Patty is the reason for the Krusty Krab’s success; it’s a burger made with a frozen hamburger, fresh lettuce, onions, tomatoes, undersea cheese, pickles mustard ketchup and a secret formula. The Krabby Patties are stored in the Patty vault and, through the series, have been available in a variety of versions like the Double Triple Patty Deluxe, the Jelly Patty and the Pretty Patty.
Through the series, we’re given hints about the ingredients in the Krabby Patty – these include sesame seeds, mustard, relish, sea cheese, tartar sauce, sea onions, na na na,a splash of Whee, Who Ho Hoo and A-Ooga. While it may be hard to source the last few ingredients, spurred on by a tinge of nostalgia, we’re trying to make a Krabby Patty in our own kitchens. We’ve improvised a bit about the secret ingredient, but we’re sure you’ll love this burger. Have it for lunch or dinner with a side of fries.
