Strawberry Tiramisu Recipe
Tiramisu is usually enjoyed among the elegance of a fine-dining restaurant. The process of preparing tiramisu is usually considered too tedious for any home cooks. This simple and yet delicious tiramisu recipe is the perfect easy alternative to the decadence of restaurant made tiramisu. The strawberries and the mascarpone cheese makes it a tremendous combination for that perfect dessert.

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups of strawberry preserves
- 1/3 cup + 4 tbsp of Cointreu or any other orange liqueur
- 1/3 cup of orange juice
- 500 grams of mascarpone cheese
- 1 1/3 cups of chilled whipping cream
- 1/3 cup of sugar
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 52 crips ladyfingers not the vegetable
- 500 grams of strawberries

Instructions
- Combine the strawberry preserves, 1/3 cup of Cointreu and orange juice in a bowl and whisk them together
- Add the mascarpone cheese and 2 tablespoons of Cointreu in another large bowl and fold them together
- With an electric mixer, whisk together the cream, sugar, vanilla, and the remaining 2 tablespoons of Cointreu to a consistency of soft peak
- Add 1/4 of this mixture to the mascarpone mixture
- Add the remaining whipped cream and fold
- Slice up half of the strawberries and place it at the bottom of a baking dish along with 1/2 cup of preserve mixture
- Place the ladyfingers on top of the strawberry base
- Add 3/4 cup of the strawberry preserve mixture on top of this layer
- Add 2 1/2 cups of mascarpone mixture over this layer
- Arrange the remaining sliced strawberries on top of the mascarpone mixture
- Repeat the layering process with the ladyfingers, preserve mixture and the mascarpone mixture
- Cover it with cling wrap and chill for at least 8 hours or overnight.
