This Is The Secret To Making Jimmy Kimmel’s Perfect Pancakes!

on

If there’s one thing that Jimmy Kimmel does flawlessly (apart from being an amazing late-night host and a gorgeous human being) is flipping the most perfect and colourful cartoon-inspired pancakes for his 3-year-old daughter, Jane.

Kimmel has often taken to social media in the past to show-off his amazing pancake making skills, the most recent one being last month when he flipped Lightning McQueen onto his daughter’s breakfast plate, keeping up with the release of Cars 3.

Some more of his pancake artwork include the Finding Dory pancakes he made to celebrate seeing Ellen DeGeneres back in February. DeGeneres even replied to the gesture and tweeted: “That is crazy. I made Portia @JimmyKimmel pancakes this morning.”

And then there was Thomas (yes, the disturbingly happy and calm train engine).

In a recent interview for People, Kimmel revealed the secret behind his pretty little breakfast cakes, attributing his talent to the fact that he used to enjoy drawing as a kid.

But that’s not all, as the ingredients also matter to some extent. “I just add organic food colouring to pancake mix and I put each one in a squirt bottle and I’ll just kind of squirt it out on to the pan,” he said. The late-night host also added that using a non-stick griddle pan like Kimmel’s is also important.

Speaking on who was usually more excited to eat/make the pancakes: “My daughter makes requests and then I have to obey those requests,” he told People.
