Shizusan Is Celebrating World Sushi Day With Sushi Pizzas

Commemorating World Sushi Day and paying homage to two of the most loved comfort food, Shizusan Shophouse & Bar will feature an exclusive selection of ‘Sushi Pizza’s’ from June 16 to June 18.

This Asian delicacy in a unique avatar resonates the brand’s endeavours to introduce its diners to global food trends while keeping the integrity of the flavours intact. The celebration is in continuation with the mythical Shizusan’s travels and an ode to another fellow explorer, Marco Polo, who introduced the treasures of the orient to Italy.

A slice of Sushi Pizza is perfect for a wholesome snack during a shopping spree or even a ‘cheat day’ indulgence since it is lower on calories than a conventional pizza. Adventurous diners can sample the Edamame, Avocado, Philli Cheese and Asparagus with wasabi mayo or the Jack Fruit, Mango and Seasonal Fruits with spicy mayo in the vegetarian options. 

If you’re a seafood lover you could opt for the Tuna, Salmon and Jalapeños with Crispy Seaweed and kewpie mayo, or the Prawns & Edamame with honey chilli & mango sauce. Don’t forget to pair your pizza slice with one of the sake inspired cocktails like the Sake Sunset or the Pitu Sake.
