Spicy Chicken Masala Curry Recipe
Chicken curry is one of the most popular non-vegetarian dishes across India. This recipe prepares the chicken North Indian style, using a spicy mixture of Kashmiri chilies and yogurt.
Serve this curry with flatbreads or steamed rice. Adjust the spices as per your tastes.

Ingredients
- 250 grams boneless chicken pieces washed
- 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 tbsp yogurt
- 1 tsp kashmiri red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Jeera powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
- 7 garlic cloves
- 7 Red chilies Kashmiri
- 2 tbsp Oil
- A handful of coriander leaves finely chopped
- salt to taste

Instructions
- Mix the spice powders and salt to taste together.
- Add the ginger garlic paste and yogurt to this mixture and stir well.
- Coat the chicken with this mixture and allow it to marinate for half an hour.
- Chop the garlic cloves and whole red chilies and put them into a grinder.
- Add a few tablespoons of water to this mixture and grind into a smooth paste.
- Heat the oil and cook the marinated chicken for three minutes.
- Cover the chicken and allow it to cook for eight more minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the ground paste and cover the chicken.
- Continue cooking for three to four minutes over a low flame.
- Add a little water to the curry and continue cooking until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
- Once cooked, stir in the coriander leaves and continue cooking over a low flame for a minute.
- Take off the stove, serve and enjoy!
