About Sula Selections

While Sula Vineyards are best known for producing premium wines in India, they also run an import arm; Sula Selections. Sula Selections imports and distributes leading international wines and spirits like Asahi Beer, Remy Cointreau, Ruffino and Hardys.

Sula

Sula Selections has been brining Hardys Wines to India since 2007. Founded in 1857, Hardys Wines is a leading wine producer in Australia.

The New Wines

Hardys in collaboration with Sula Selections will soon be launching William Hardy Limestone Coast Chardonnay and William Hardy Langhorne Creek Shiraz in India. To launch the product, Glenn McGrath, Australia’s celebrated cricketer and brand ambassador of Hardys Wines will tour India and launch the wines across Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai.

Commenting on the occasion, Glenn McGrath stated, “What makes Hardys an Australian icon is also what makes it so appealing. It’s a brand with more than 160 years of history, and their passion and pride in winemaking is something I very much relate to and am proud to represent as an ambassador.

Hardys Wine

The William Hardy range absolutely reflects what I love about Hardys wines – it’s got a real sense of tradition and history and honours the 40 years of hard work which Bill Hardy, the 5th generation of the Hardys family, put into the winery and its wines.

The William Hardy Limestone Creek Chardonnay and Langhorne Creek Shiraz are wines with huge varietal personality and regional identity. Knowing that they were made with Bill’s passion in mind, they are a true showcase of Australian wine’s quality, flavour and character and I think will be perfect as a premium wine offer for the Indian consumer.”

Meanwhile, Willam Hardys said “The Hardys name is synonymous with South Australian winemaking, dating back to 1853, and we wanted this new range to recognise and celebrate the pivotal role the family has played in developing the premium wine regions of the state.”

Deepak Bhatnagar, the President of Sula Selections also commented on the occasion saying “Hardys is truly one of the best wine brands of Australia with a rich legacy tracing back to about 160 years of wine production. We are ecstatic and look forward to launching two more wines from Hardys in the country and our step in this direction only indicates how Indian consumers are loving what we have to offer.”
