Meet Michael Zee. He’s the photographer behind SymmetryBreakfast on Instagram. And now, also a cookbook by the same name.

Every morning, Michael posts a photograph of his breakfast with his girlfriend. But it’s not just a random food photograph. Each photograph is perfectly symmetrical and lined up perfectly. Both their plates are arranged as mirror images of the other and placed on the same table. 

While they might be British, their breakfasts aren’t entirely British. They cook everything – which you can find in their cookbook, out this August – from all over the world from Turkey to Mumbai, they are on a culinary journey right there in their kitchen. And they’re documenting all of it for food lovers (and those with OCD) to gush over.
