Instructions
- Cook the thur dal and keep aside.
- Cook the mangoes in three cups of water on a medium flame.
- After a minute, add the salt and sambar podi and stir.
- Cook the mango mixture for ten minutes.
- Stir in the cooked thur dal.
- Add the sugar and mix.
- In another pan, fry the mustard, hing, green chilies and fenugreek in the gingelly oil for a minute.
- Add this fry up to the mango mixture.
- Roast the curry leaves in a pan.
- Cook the maanga paruppu for another five to ten minutes until it becomes thick in consistency.
- Take the paruppu of the stove and add the roasted curry leaves.
- Serve!
