Chicken Parmesan is a traditional Italian dish made with fried chicken topped with a creamy Parmesan cheese sauce and baked in the oven. When you don’t have an oven, it becomes quite difficult to make this delicious chicken dish.
This Chicken in Basil Cream recipe is the easier variation of Chicken Parm with the additional twist of basil included in the Parmesan sauce. It requires none of the ingredients (or time) of the traditional Chicken Parmesan but has the same exquisite taste.

Instructions
Place the milk and bread crumbs in separate bowls
In a pan, heat butter on medium heat
Dip the chicken breasts in milk first and then in bread crumbs
Place the crumbed chicken on the pan and fry until fully cooked
Remove the chicken breast pieces from the pan and keep warm
Add the chicken broth to the same pan
Bring the broth to boil on medium heat
Add cream and let it boil for 1 minute
Add cheese, basil and pepper on reduce heat
Stir the sauce and let it cook for 2-3 minutes
Pour the cheese mixture over the cooked chicken
Top it with some grated cheese, sliced tomato (optional) and serve hot
