- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/3 cup shredded parmesan
- 1/3 cup chopped parsley
- 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
- pepper to taste

Method
- Bring water to a boil and add the orzo and salt. Cook until al dante and drain in a colander.
- In a large pan, add butter and sauté the onions and add dried thyme.
- Whisk in the soup and milk and keep stirring until uniform.
- Stir in the cooked orzo and add grated the parmesan and pepper. Stir well.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot!
