Copycat Subway Barbecue Sauce Recipe
Last week, we shared a recipe for Subway’s iconic honey mustard sauce. Today, we turn our attention to it’s delicious barbecue sauce which tastes delicious when added to meat based sub. Whip up a copycat barbecue sauce at home and spread it on burgers, sandwiches or subs. You can also pour it over grilled meats to enhance their smoky flavour!

Ingredients
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1 cup Water
- 1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 5 tbsp light-brown sugar
- 5 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tbsp Freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 tbsp onion powder
- 1/2 tbsp ground mustard
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Worcestshire sauce

Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan.
- Set the saucepan over a stove and allow the mixture to come to boil.
- Reduce the heat to simmer.
- Cook for an hour until the sauce reduces, stirring occasionally.
- Take off the stove.
- Allow the sauce to cool and then store in an airtight container.
