The show, which is an adaptation of a popular Japanese cooking series, requires participant to cook five preparations in one hour. Moreover, these dishes to be cooked are all based on two specific theme ingredients, one of which is introduced to the chefs at the beginning of the show. The first four dishes are supposed to be crafted around the first ingredient. Thereafter, the second secret ingredient is announced at the 40th minute of the cook off which becomes the star item of the fifth dish.

“Participating in the show was a phenomenal experience. We were given live Canadian Lobster as the main ingredient, which was tricky as well as interesting. I prepared authentic Indian dishes and infused interesting Thai and Asian flavours for innovation”, the victorious chef said of his win.

But everyone is asking the same question: what was on the Chef’s winning menu? “The menu included Lobster Chaat with sweet and spice yoghurt snow, Tandoori Gunpowder Lobster with Wasabi Raita, Malai Lobster with mango relish and Lobster Moilee with grapes, curd & rice. The most exciting part was the fifth special ingredient Chicken Butt with which I prepared Butter chicken with barley kedgeree”, Chef Bhat was quoted as saying by Hospitality Biz India.
