Black chocolate cake, beer and pretzel. Cashew nut frosting
This is the cake we made this year for my birthday. As we explained in the Youtube channel video, we have chosen these flavours for pleasure and above they go for luxury together!!
The taste of the cake is quite beast for black beer (we put 1 whole) if you want to soften that you can use half of the beer.
In the video, the process looks pretty good but as always when we make these cakes patience and let the cake cool before mounting.
We wanted to take this opportunity to thank all those who yesterday went to the show cooking at Veggie World Barcelona. There was some problem of direct but nothing disastrous 🙂
We hope you will like it a lot and do the recipes at home that you will see as you do not disappoint with online cake delivery in Delhi!
Especially when you cook do not do it stressed (although it may seem impossible at times). That you serve to have a moment of relaxation and enjoy what you are doing.
As we always say, vegan confectionery is the richest. And we say it objectively! You have to catch the trick and go testing. Nothing happens if something does not come out and try again. Nobody always gets everything the first time!
It’s not the first cake we make for the blog so you no longer have an excuse not to make your own homemade birthday cakes! We know that for many it is complicated to find vegan pastry so in this way you have homemade options.
Black chocolate cake, beer and pretzel. Cashew nut frosting
Prep time: 1 hour 15 mins
Cook time: 40 mins
Total time: 1 hour 55 mins
Recipe type:
Chocolate cake, beer and pretzel
Cuisine: Vegan
Serves: 6 people
Ingredients
– 250g flour
– 40g pure cocoa
– 220g brown sugar
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 tablespoon sodium bicarbonate
– 40ml cider vinegar
– 160ml vegetable oil
– 330ml beer
– 1 teaspoon vanilla
Frosting:
– 75g chocolate 70%
– 200g cashew nuts
– 250ml coconut milk
– 100g pretzel
Ganache:
– 130g chocolate 70%
– 60ml coconut milk
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
– To make the cake we separate the wet ingredients from the liquids in two containers and mix.
– Then we join them and with a spatula we mix without going over. So that it merges well without over mixing.
– We divide our dough into 3 (with the same weight) to make 3 biscuits (they will be the 3 layers of the cake)
– Bake the biscuits at 180ºC for about 30 minutes (you know that each oven is a world to stick with a toothpick to ensure) and let them cool.
– To make the frosting we will use cashews and 70% dark chocolate. We melt the chocolate in the bain maria.
– Grind the cashew nuts soaked in coconut milk.
– In a bowl we mix the result with 70% melted chocolate. We use spatula and we mix little by little.
-Trituramos pretzel to use between layer and layer.
– We are assembling the cake layers. Trying to make it level. We put crushed frosting and pretzel between each layer except the last and we dress the whole cake with the frosting.
– Finally we make a very simple ganache using 70% chocolate, coconut milk and olive oil (it will give the shine).
– We put to the bath maria the chocolate with the milk of coconut until it founds. We add the olive oil and we have to beat well because at first it seems that they repel. No, keep insisting and it ends up joining and you will see how it looks bright.
– We put it with a spatula on top of the cake.
– Decorate with pretzel as we like with CakenGifts.in!
