Brooke Bond Red Label Tea Has A Cure For Loneliness
In today’s world, some psychologists say that ‘loneliness’ is a major disease. Everyone is always busy rushing from one place to another or engrossed by their gadgets. In its latest ad, Red Label Tea explores how tea can help facilitate togetherness.
The Ad
In the ad, which has been conceptualised by Ogilvy & Mather, a young man makes a cup of tea for himself and an elderly lady, explaining that she is lonely because no one visits her as she suffers from Alzheimer’s. He stops by the woman’s home often to have tea with her. The ad ends with a voiceover Brooke Bond red Label Tea as the ‘Taste of Togetherness’.
Commenting on the ad, Kainaz Karmakar, ECD, Ogilvy Mumbai, said, “Loneliness is the biggest disease going around in the world. And it hits people with Alzheimer’s that much harder because they are not even in a state to complain about it. Luckily we have a client who is as sharp and sensitive as this issue demands, so we could do what we set out to. Tea can’t cure Alzheimer’s but it can cure loneliness.”
