Are cotton candy oreos the next new flavour?

There’s fluffy, sticky, sweet cotton candy and then there’s cookies. Put those two together and you have cotton candy awesomeness. Nabisco’s Oreo cookie flavours have seen some daring ‘What were they thinking’ flavours to ‘that-is-plain-genius’ flavours. Cookie Dough, Pumpkin Spice, Peanut Butter Cup, Marshmallow Crispy, Banana Split and Limeade are just a few amongst many others.

The internet has been flooded with pictures of Cotton Candy Oreos. Who doesn’t love an Oreo cookie? After the super-awesome Red Velvet Oreos with a cream cheese filling that came out last month, a new flavour has been doing the rounds of the internet, the Cotton Candy Oreos. It will be fun to see if this is true or just another rumour. Remember the Fried Chicken Oreo flavour that ran the rumour mill last year? Well, we will just have to wait and watch if cotton candy is like the fried chicken.

 

It all began when an Instagram user, Cookie0man, posted pictures of what was a packet of Cotton Candy Oreos last week. There are rumours that the pictures were taken somewhere in the production stage as the background has telltale signs of what may be a warehouse.

 

Since then the Instagram account, where the pictures were originally posted has been deleted but the rumour has spread like wildfire. The Oreo cookie maker, Nabisco, has yet to officially announce a new flavour or comment on the authenticity of these pictures.
