Find Out Why KFC Japan’s Chicken Is No Longer Finger Licking Good
KFC is best known for two things; Kentucky Fried Chicken and its catchphrase ‘finger-licking good’. However, KFC customers in Japan will not be licking their fingers anymore thanks to KFC Japan’s newly launched ‘Finger Nups’.
Protect Your Fingers
The Finger Nups, short for Finger Napkins are tiny plastic gloves which will cover your thumb and index fingers while you eat.
The logic is that these gloves will protect customers’ fingers from getting coated in grease, oil and crumbs while eating the brand’s signature chicken.
In the past, the chain had noticed customers using napkins to pick up the fried chicken pieces. However, these quickly became soaked through with oil and the paper stuck to the chicken.
So, the Finger Nubs were introduced at 222 stores in Japan’s Kanto and Kansai regions. Do you think these are likely to roll out across the world?
