FRIENDS Monica’s Mac & Cheese Recipe
To us, the perfect Sundays are made up of a marathon tv show binge, a cosy duvet ad some great food. This Sunday, we plan to curl up with some good old macaroni and cheese – the king of comfort foods – and watch episode after episode of FRIENDS. Why mac and cheese? Because it’s a FRIENDS themed dish!
Monica’s Mac and Cheese
In one of the FRIENDS’ episodes, a flashback scene shows us that Monica as a teenager made Chandler some macaroni and cheese, because he’s practically allergic to Thanksgiving food. He loves the dish and tells Monica that she should be a chef – setting her on a life changing path.

A year later, Chandler is smitten with the all new ‘thin’ Monica and asks for more of her ‘righteous Mac & cheese’. While we all know that Chandler was trying to get on Monica’s good side with that compliment, we have no doubt that her Mac & cheese was indeed righteous – she is a stellar cook after all!
Here’s our version of Monica’s mac & cheese recipe; have it for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
